Refurbishment of a historic modernist building into a nearly-zero energy home to Passivhaus standard.

Passivhaus consultancy included PHPP energy simulation and performance optimisation, thermal envelope design, strategies to combat summer overheating and thermal bridge calculations.

HVAC design included an air-source heat pump for heating, cooling and DHW production, with radiant ceiling and wall panels and dehumidifiers, ducted mechanical ventilation with heat recovery and integral control of all HVAC systems with the Loxone home automation system.
