Thermodynamic simulation study with DesignBuilder (EnergyPlus), comparing FINSA laminate wood flooring with ceramic tiles, heated with a Cecather underfloor electric radiant heating system, for dry and wet installations. The floors were modelled in a residential building, in the Madrid climate. The objective of the study was to analyse the dynamic thermal response of the different types of floors under the same boundary conditions, comparing the energy consumption for heating, the surface temperature of the floor, and the operating temperature in the room.
