Progetic took part on this EU Funded R&D project, subcontracted by White Design Associates Ltd.

Funded by the European Commission Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI), EuroCell set the objective of reaching a 3-5% market share with the ModCell eco-prefabricated construction system by 2020, reducing the environmental impact of newly constructed buildings by 80% compared to current solutions. Progetic worked on thermo-dynamic simulation of the buildings, proposing thermal improvements to the ModCell system. We also managed the component certification of ModCell with the Passivhaus Institut, Germany, achieving Passivhaus certification for the world’s first prefabricated timber and straw building system.
