The Passivhaus retrofit of a multi-family residential building in Carrer Nou, Girona, wins the Sustainable Retrofit Award of Construction 21's Green Solutions Awards 2018.

Carrer Nou is an abitious deep-energy retrofit project of a multi-family residential building in the city centre of Girona, Catalonia, Spain, completed in 2017. Progetic delivered the Passivhaus design and control systems engineering for heating, cooling and ventilation. The project was certified as Passivhaus EnerPHit by Energiehaus Arquitectos

The Gin Distillery wins London RIBA Award 2018

 

Congratulations to Open Practice Architecture for winning the RIBA London Award 2018, with the retrofitting of the Gin Distillery!

The Gin Distillery is an impressive project that has transformed a derelict distillery "in the most unexpected corner of London E1" into a single family home, designed by Open Practice Architecture. Progetic is honoured to have been a part of the project.

Carrer Nou multi-storey building reaches Passivhaus EnerPHit Certification

Carrer Nou is Catalonia’s first multi-storey residential EnerPHit building, situated in the historic centre of Girona. Work on-site began in August 2016 and was completed a year later. Dating from 1978, the building’s external walls are made of extruded ceramic brick, cement-rendered to the outside and gypsum plastered inside. Internal floors are terrazzo over concrete beam and block.
